Ben Kerrell-Vaughan, project design engineer at British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles is planning to break the 15-year old world land speed record on two wheels on a novel, 400 mph, jet-powered motorcycle called Cyclone. The design of Cyclone would make use of computational fluid dynamics with creation of motion models of the jet-engine engine, suspension, parachutes and brakes.
