Solve design puzzles with mass integration

Article Abstract:

Any industrial process designs need to address the elements of mass and design. Engineers typically begin the industrial design process by using computer-based tools, experienced-based rules and their know-how, experience and creativity to improve existing designs. It is argued that since mass and energy integration complement each other, they logically form the basis of a comprehensive methodology for integrated process design, which emphasizes the unity of the entire process. This approach would ensure that correct details receive attention.

Pipeline pressure drop: a new design correlation

Article Abstract:

A linear equation has been derived using correlation techniques to calculate flow rate of fluids in circular pipes. This method can be used to measure pressure drop and reduce energy losses of fluids in circular pipes.
