Some results on implementing a multi-item multi-constraint single-period inventory model

Article Abstract:

An examination of single-period products' maximum solutions is required to achieve a better comprehension of multi-item, multi-constraint, single-period products. Handlers of these kind of products are burdened by different space, capital, and other restrictions. A demand-distribution modelling procedure essential for the practical implementation of newsboy-type production problems and establish a better understanding of the multi-constraint newsstand problem is depicted.

Markov-modulated Poisson processes for multi-location inventory problems

Article Abstract:

The Markov-Modulated Poisson Process (MMPP) was employed to serve as a model in solving problems related to multi-location inventory. MMPP is a generalization of the Poisson process and can be used to represent emergency lateral transshipments. The Markovian queueing networks, meanwhile, was utilized to represent as a model for the inventory system of local locations and the main depot.

A deterministic order level inventory model for deteriorating items with two storage facilities

Article Abstract:

A rented warehouse, utilized for hoarding the surplus units over the established capacity of an owned warehouse, is presumed to provide a superior preserving facility than the owned warehouse. This will lead to a lower rate of deterioration for products.
