Challenges posed by the implementation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, a law designed to regulate the accounting procedures of US companies, are not of technology but of social responsibility and maturity. The company's management is required to ensure that there are adequate internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of their financial reports.
