Stop your slurries from stirring up troubles

Article Abstract:

The design of a reliable handling system for slurry should involve the analysis of slurry properties in laboratories. The examination of slurry properties would help in determining both the design and selection of storage and conveying equipment, and on the specification of operating parameters. The properties to be measured should include flow curve, slurry density, slurry solidents content, particle size/size distribution, settling rates, abrasivity and particle friability.
