Half the fatal accidents that occur in industries involving industrial equipments are caused by faulty machine design and poor maintenance of the equipments. Experts unanimously agree that educating and training employees is one of the solutions to increased safety but employers should also ensure that safety standards and regulations are not flouted.

Super plastic helps create safe helmet

The development of the latest ultra-safe cycle helmet that has a built-in rear view system only for pedal cycles, which gives the cyclist to have a back view without turning back is presented. The main ingredient used for this helmet is the advanced lightweight plastic 'Zytel ST' and also has a structural peak design for safety against facial injuries

Monitoring system improves safety

Article Abstract:

A modular safety system eliminates the cost, maintenance and system update problems associated with multiple wiring of safety trip devices to a central controller. The module eliminates the need for PLCs as it wires directly to the safety trip devices on the corrugator and directly to a display in the control room.
