Tech transfer matchmaker offers updates via the Net

The Cherry Hill, NJ-based Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer offers chemical processing companies free information on how to tap into the $25 billion in research and development conducted at US government laboratories each year. The organization's monthly newsletter, which is delivered by e-mail, also provides hot links to other technology transfer websites and lists of technologies available for licensing and experts in several technical fields.

John Swearingen, 1918-2007

Article Abstract:

John E, Swearingen died Sept. 14, 2007 in Birmingham, AL after rising through the ranks at Standard Oil of Indiana until becoming chairman in 1965. Sweringen is survived by his wife and two daughters.
