Temperature's rising

Article Abstract:

Quality manufacturers have to address the issues of temperature rises in low voltage assemblies as the lv assembly standard IEC 60439-1 does not specify it. The BEAMA InstallationEs Engineered Systems Product Group (ESPG) has called for setting up means of temperature rise performance verification, and a consistent approach. Manufacturers must have a practical method of verifying capability of modular systems and must establish limitations. Proposed temperature rise verification will leads to design optimization without compromising standardEs defined performance.
