Theories of organizational structure and innovation adoption: the role of environmental change

Article Abstract:

A more complicated and accurate model of structure-innovation relationships was formulated that takes into consideration environmental change variables. It also identifies particular relationships present between structure and innovation adoption in four environmental conditions. The model indicates that all kinds of innovations do not hold equal significance in all environmental conditions.
