Article Abstract:

A study shows that a quality practitioner should have knowledge of management, engineering and statistics. The education system is such that a statistician is not trained in engineering or business. Engineering courses do not offer much training in statistics or business. There is no cooperation between the three courses. To meet the needs of industries, it is necessary to introduce an interdisciplinary educational program.
