Heavy metals extraction from contaminated soil: Recovery of the flushing solution

Article Abstract:

The optimum conditions for the recovery of copper from a contaminated soil are evaluated by using the soil flushing technique. The experiment is carried out with the use ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) as a chelating agent in flushing treatments allowed to achieve high extraction yields.
