Acetylene gas incidents on the increase

Article Abstract:

Research by the London Fire Brigade showed that there is a high incidence of fires caused by acetylene gas cylinders. The fires are high risk and economic and community damage is huge. Safety and security efforts by the government, as well as the other findings of the fire brigade, are discussed.

Beds introduces life saving equipment on board appliances

Article Abstract:

Bedfordshire and Luton in the UK have introduced a Trauma Care course to help emergency rescuers deal better with victims who encounter traumatic injuries. A new kit included in the training course includes defibrillators, all-in-one rucksack type Trauma bags, neck collars, and spine-boards.
