Bearings a key to the cake

Article Abstract:

Phoenix Process Equipment Co of Louisville, KY, manufactures belt filter presses which are used to reduced moisture content in municipal sewage and wastewater treatment facilities, and in pulp and paper and aggregate production. The press design is based on a belt up to three meters wide that passes in a serpentine arrangement through a thickener to further reduce moisture. The equipment is used at Springfield, TN's wastewater treatment plant.

Wetland restoration project relies on software

Article Abstract:

Enviromental Software has developed a software solution to perform a Confirmatory Sampling Program and Ecological Risk Assessment on the Bolsa Chica lowlands in Huntington Beach, CA. The contract is part of the $91- million wetlands restoration project in Southern California. The software company provided the project with Microsoft certified Environmental Management Information System sofware and its own Site Pro software.
