Best management practices for post-construction soils

Article Abstract:

Washington State is the first state in the United States to include soil quality and depth Best Management Practices (BMPs) in its storm water management manual. The reasons that prompted the Washington Department of Ecology to include a 'Post-Construction Soil Quality and Depth' BMC are discussed.

Composter "upgrades" to receive postconsumer food residuals

Article Abstract:

Cedar Grove Composting, with its latest technology and upgrades, is able to handle postconsumer food residuals and soiled paper from residents and businesses. The various food residual recycling projects carried out in the cities by Cedar Grove Composting are discussed.

The science of Chromium remediation
