Biomass energy outlook

Article Abstract:

The future of the bioenergy infrastructure construction industries is reviewed on the basis of the 7th Annual BioCycle Conference on Renewable Energy From Organics Recycling. Five next generation manure energy projects under construction to balance the supply and demand in fuel market are Fibrominn, Microgy, Panda Ethanol, E3 Biofuels, and Bison Renewable Energy.

Financial help for new digesters and ethanol plants

Article Abstract:

The common hurdle for farmers who consider using waste products as feedstock for renewable energy production are the high up-front capital cost. In order to prevent this obstacle, the federal government that provided entrepreneurs with the seed money they needed to leverage financing for biomass projects established a grant and loan program.

Presidential visit to ethanol enzyme, compost producer

Article Abstract:

The U.S. President George W. Bush visited the Novozymes laboratory in Franklinton, North Carolina, on February 22, 2007, where alternative fuels are made from switch grass and wood chips. The facility produces liquid and granulated enzymes for markets that include fuel ethanol, food processing and compost facilities.
