Fifth ORBIT conference probes anaerobic digestion

Article Abstract:

The recovery of organic matter and its importance for energy, nutrient and humus supply was the major focal point for ORBIT 2006 conference, which took place at the University of Weimer in Germany on September 13-15, 2006. 'Biological Waste Management - From Local to Global' was the main theme of the conference, which aimed at new developments in anaerobic digestion.

Food residuals recycling in the most densely populated state

Article Abstract:

The Solid Waste Policy Group (SWPG) has provided a variety of assistance to individuals and entities seeking to establish food residuals recycling operations in the most densely populated state of New Jersey. It is observed that conversion of food residuals into animal feed faces a number of barriers with potential exceptions like unwanted bread products.
