Environmental compliance - a strategic game

Article Abstract:

Industrial firms which receive an environmental compliance notice from the EPA should respond by acquiring the services of a licensed environmental engineer and attorney. A firm has the alternative of self-compliance but this could be difficult since regulations, amendments and policies change frequently and are so many that professional consultants are often those who can keep track of regulatory policies. A business owner can also transfer some of his future responsibilities and liabilities to the professional consultants who are on contract.

Torn to shreds

Paper shredding operations have a wide range of options depending on the industry, material and clients' requirements. The capacity of industrial shredders can range from a few hundred pounds per hour to tens of tons per hour. The two major objectives in paper shredding are security and recycling. If the paper shredded is to be recycled, the shredding process is a primary recovery process.
