Finding a home for plastics

Article Abstract:

New markets for recycled plastic are cropping up amidst an expected increase in scrap plastic production from businesses and residences in the US and steady increases in market share in the 1990s. Material differences

Article Abstract:

Recyclers of construction and demolition (C&D) debris can look positively at the strong potential that the market for concrete and metal presents. According to the Portland Cement Association, almost 100 million tons of crushed cement concrete are used, equivalent to 5% of the total construction aggregates consumed. RV Shulnburg of Eagle Amalgamated stressed that concrete recycling will be most prevalent in the future since it is impossible to replenish a quarry.
