The preview of the Professor Rosemary Everton's speech to the Research and Development Conference of the Fire and Rescue Service for the year 2007, to be held at the Fire Service College on the 7th and the 8th of November, is presented. The impact of the enforcement of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005, on the operations of fire and rescue services is discussed.
