Supersized indoor composting facility

Article Abstract:

A new supersized indoor composting facility is being developed in the industrial area of Rancho Cucamonga in Southern California for managing of biosolid wastes. The operations are going to be fully enclosed with collected air to be treated for odor removal and the new large-scale facility will serve as a test case for the ability to build and operate such facilities in the densely populated area.

Closed loop system takes manure and methane to ethanol and compost

Article Abstract:

The major components of the Genesis Plant in Mead, Nebraska to process manure and methane to create ethanol and compost, constructed by E3 Biofuels are reviewed. The $80 million plant sets a new standard for ethanol production that would produce about 20 million gallons of ethanol each year.
