UK first: Emergency Rescue Station opens in Northern Ireland

The first joint rescue station in the UK between the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency has opened in Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland. The new rescue station is built near the site of the old station and has improved facilities for the equipment and staff.
