Ike Behar, the shirt maker and founder of Ike Behar Apparel and Design Inc. boasts of two factories, 300 employees and a production of some 12,000 shirts every week, and the product line has expanded to include men's sportswear, ties, pocket squares, and a custom-tailoring program. Plans are underway to add suiting as well, while the Behar label already brings in some $25 million every year, selling across the US, Canada, France, and Switzerland.
