Death by 'strict security.' (on the US Supreme Court's decision on Adarand Constructors v. Pena case)

Article Abstract:

The US Supreme Court's decision to subject federal affirmative action programs to the same 'strict scrutiny' as state and local programs has been negatively received by Hispanic businesses. According to them, the verdict will lead to the demise of affirmative action programs to help minority businesses.

Where the money is: MBAs with non-technical bachelor's degrees and four years of experience receive the biggest salary boosts

Article Abstract:

The salary for people with MBA degrees and varying years of experience is given for 1994-1996. With one or less years of experience, there was a 7.4% raise. With four or more years of experience, the hike was 11/9%, from $59,646 to $66,713. Advice aimed at Hispanic business students is presented.
