Job training program SER National helps job seekers in the 55-plus-age category and also focuses mainly on Hispanic seniors. This program covers on-the-job training for seniors, who are expected to develop marketing skills during a period of subsidized employment that might last up to six months and the training ranges from accounting and clerical to sales and technical positions, depending on the participant's prior experience and interest.

MasTec Inc. increased its revenues to more than $1 billion in sales in 1998. Its sales in 1994 were $142 million. The company started in building outdoor telephone network infrastructure. A diversification plan was implemented to include all industries.
