Raising the 'Vasa.' (Swedish warship that sank)

Article Abstract:

The 'Vasa' was built in 1625 under the orders of King Gustavus II Adolphus of Sweden, but it sank on its first voyage in 1628. The warship was raised in 1961 and restored. Researchers believe that the king's desire for a larger ship hurt the ship's stability.
