Article Abstract:

Airport duty-free shops are increasingly popular because the top vacation activity is shopping. Estimates are than grosses $21 billion annually are produced by the 800 worldwide duty-free shops. Duty-free does not always mean the lowest price. In some countries, such as Hong Kong, all items are duty-free, so airport prices may be higher.
