A development framework for collaboration in child-serving agencies

Article Abstract:

A developmental framework for collaboration based on the experience of families, service providers, administrators, and community members for the fundamental reform of services for children with serious emotional disturbance is presented. The results indicated that well-developed professional collaboration is necessary component of collaboration, but it is not sufficient in and of itself.

Evaluation of a congressionally mandated wraparound demonstration

Article Abstract:

This article evaluates the cost effectiveness of a congressionally mandated wraparound mental health service system for child and adolescent military dependents. The authors, comparing a wraparound and traditional system, conclude the wraparound system provided better continuity of care, yet was more expensive.

Assessing the readability of mental health internet brochures for children and adolescents

Article Abstract:

This article evaluates the readability of seven online mental health brochures on mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children developed by the Center for Mental Health Services. The authors maintain the reading levels were higher than the 8th grade level recommended by the Department of Education.
