Clothes encounter: dressing a baby

Article Abstract:

Tips on how to properly dress newborn babies are presented. It is preferred that mothers dress up their babies with stretchies and snap-button T-shirts when they are just at home since these clothes are the easiest to put on. To start dressing them up, babies should be on top of the unsnapped garments.

A helping hand at home

New mothers have several options in the type of paid home help available. They range from house cleaners to babysitters, to doulas. These last are women who combine many services for the mother. There are also baby nurses and home visits from nurses. Prices are given for these services.

Clothing sizes for infants vary among different brands. Parents should bring their babies on shopping trips so that they can make sure that they are buying the right size. They should also ignore the age ranges given on labels and expect some articles of clothing to shrink.
