Help for parents and preemies

Article Abstract:

Many parents with premature babies that are still confined to a neonatal intensive care unit cannot remain with their babies constantly as they must return to work. A new service called BabyCareLink, available at eight U.S. hospitals, can provide these parents with secure online information such as photographs, daily medical reports, weight checks, as well as accessible medical information and e-mail communication with nurses and doctors.

We are real parents!

Article Abstract:

A couple who adopted a baby found that people did consider them real parents, but something more like babysitters. They asked about the 'real' mother and consoled them that adoption is often followed by pregnancy. A unfair social stigma still surrounds adoption.
