Mourning: what might have been

Miscarriages may occur before the parents are aware of the pregnancy and still the loss would be felt deeply. The healing process begins with dealing with the emotional aftermath. A subsequent successful pregnancy had helped some couples to relieve their feelings of grief.

Before getting pregnant, a woman is wise to ask her health insurance provider about aspects of coverage that may be needed during the pregnancy. For example, the client should ask what they need to do to see a specialist and if prior approval is needed for prenatal tests.

Pregnancy after miscarriage
