Noncustodial parents: emergent issues of diversity and process

Article Abstract:

Noncustodial fathers and mothers need to be better studied because mothers are hardly researched and only child support and contact with children is studied for fathers. Noncustodial mothers' guilt feelings should be explored as should the relationship between noncustodial fathers and children. Father-child relationships tend to involve less time than mother-child relationships and tend to revolve around fun activities such as going to Disney Land.
