Nonresident father visitation, parental conflict, and mother's satisfaction: What's best for child well-being?

Article Abstract:

The links between nonresident father visitation, parental conflict and mother's satisfaction with the father's contact, are examined. Nonresident father visitation was found to be interrelated to levels of satisfaction and conflict, and overall mother's satisfaction with father's contact was high, in spite of some visitation conflicts. Father visitation is positively linked with child well-being, although where mothers are dissatisfied with levels of father contact, children are worst off.
