Urban tree residue survey

Article Abstract:

The amount and quality of urban tree residue related to tree chopping and other urban forestry related things was never properly recorded. A survey of the amount and quality of urban tree remnant was done to compensate the dearth of data on a national basis and to study the effect of regulatory actions. Significant information has been gained which gives a glimpse into the quantity and quality of green remnants.

Doctors at Bietigheim Hospital are planning to test the effect of phages on infected chronic wounds, which might help them to restore phage therapy to its former glory. Bacteriophages infect bacterial cells, multiply up to 200-fold and then dissolve their hosts, ready to begin a new round of massacre.
