Five women have successfully lost weight and are not gaining the weight back. One woman started eating more nutritional foods, such as vegetables and grains, and found that she lost weight. Another woman joined Weight Watchers. Yet another woman ate more fruits, vegetables, and chicken and started to exercise.

Edlyn McLain of San Francisco, CA, weighed as much as 460 pounds until she undertook drastic measures to lose her weight. Through a regimen of dieting that emphasized fruits and vegetables, tracking her daily caloric intake, and daily exercise, she lost 270-280 pounds in 19 months.
