Olana, the house built by artist Frederick Church, which has always been a source of inspiration to artists is in the news because a high-profile group of enthusiasts are trying to raise funds for its upkeep. The Strabo Council wants to maintain the citadel and the lawns of the house which has, among other artifacts, Turkish rugs and Kashmiri furniture and the committee also wants another museum built across the road to house traveling shows.
