Why I will vote for the Lib Dems

The UK Liberal Democrats should be greatly respected for their opposition to the Criminal Justice Act and the Asylum and Immigration Acts, which give the government and the police excessive powers. The powers of government in the UK now go far beyond what is regarded internationally as acceptable in an established democracy, but neither the Conservative party nor the Labour party are willing to deal with this situation. Voters who are concerned about this issue should support the Liberal Democrats, and need not feel that this is a wasted vote.
