Article Abstract:

Junior school designs were assessed for their energy efficiency by groups of architects on behalf of BRECSU. The architects used the LT Method to evaluate the thermal and lighting requirements of the different designs. The options were entitled the finger plan, the compact school plan, the linear plan and the courtyard plan. All four designs were considered to be energy efficient and included plenty of access to daylight and good ventilation.

Happiness is a Hummel

Article Abstract:

The Hummel Museum is home to more than 300 drawings and sketches by Sister M.I. Hummel, several displays about the artist's life and work, and a wide variety of valuable Hummel figurines. The prize piece in the collection is the 'Silent Night with Black Child' figurine.
