There are some similarities between the mania for collecting Beanie Babies and collecting wine. Beanie Baby collectors can be serious businessmen who eagerly snatch up rare items, just the way the wine collectors do when searching for new and promising wines that may lose value.

No rush for 1994 Cabernet

Cabernet wine producers in California are optimistic about the 1994 vintage. It could be the best vintage ever produced since the early 1980s. Several vintners believe that the exceptionally long grape growing season and the cool weather will improve the 1994 yield.
