Bread with bite

Article Abstract:

Sourdough bread is different from regular bread because it is not made with commercial yeast. Rather, it is made by the feeding of naturally occurring wild yeast spores with flour and water. The result is the sourdough starter, a portion of which is used to create the loaf, while the rest is kept aside for future loaves. Its hearty flavor pairs well with robust foods.
