Twelve wines are evaluated. Two are the top wines of the month to cellar, five are best buys, and five are highly recommended. The top selection is a 1989 Chateau Margaux at $145 a bottle, and it is rated 99 on a scale of 100.

France dominates top 10 wines of 1998

Article Abstract:

An evaluation of the top 10 wines which were chosen for 1998 is presented. The winning red wine was the Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou St. Julien 1995 and the winning white wine was the Domaine Laroche Chablis Les Clos 1996.
