Recline Ridge is located in Tappen in the center of British Columbia's mountainous terrain, surrounded by dense coniferous forest and alpine peaks. Owners Mike and Sue Smith reflect on the years they spent developing their vineyard and winery in an often-hostile natural environment.

Former Olympian takes on winemaking challenge

Former Olympic Decathlon athlete Moro is now on a quest to make good Morovino wines. Moro, 53, now lives in Santa Barbara, CA, and teaches athletics to children in addition to making wine. His 1995 Sauvignon Blanc scored 85 out of a possible 100 in a blind tasting.
