Sauvignon's new style

Article Abstract:

Wines made in the Sonoma-Napa region of California, generally have good taste. Many of the Sauvignon Blanc wineries in the are buy the grapes to make a Sauvignoc Blacne flavor. Many quality wines can be purchased for less than $15 per bottle. The wine complements a variety of foods, and is made from a mixture of grapes and is made using winemaking techniques from Australia and other methods.

Sauvignon Blanc wines of 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and non-vintage bottles are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. Many of these reasonably-priced wines are very good. A 1996 Mason Napa Valley at $12 is rated 91.
