Emeril live!

Article Abstract:

Emeril Lagasse began his career in a Massachusetts Portugese bakery at the age of 12. He attended culinary school in 1978, spent some time in France, and then landed a prestigious restaurant in New Orleans. He opened his own restaurant in 1990, featuring 'new New Orleans' cuisine, and has opened several more locations since. He also has his own cooking show, and has amassed thousands of enthusiastic fans. All of his restaurants feature serious wine lists. He says that his passion and respect for food and people are what have brought him this far.
