What's old is new

Article Abstract:

Miller Brewing Company has unveiled a new old look packaging designed to reacquaint beer drinkers with its 95-year-old brand name, Miller High Life, following a 14% rise in sales in 1997. Miller High Life, which is promoted with such slogans as 'The Champagne of Beers' and 'Miller Time' has been repackaged to its old sleek, tall bottle design with the Girl in the Moon symbol that dates back to the turn of the century. The new old look will be supported by a national TV ad campaign that will emphasize traditional values of simplicity, hard work and common sense, said the firm's category brand director Bruce Winterton.
