Grand Award Guide

Article Abstract:

A guide to the winners of Wine Spectator's 1999 Grand Award is presented. The award goes to restaurants that have developed outstanding wine programs that include a well-stocked cellar, an imaginative list, and a talented sommelier. Profiles of the 83 worldwide Grand Award winners are included, along with a history of the Grand Award. Emeril's restaurant in New Orleans garnered 1999's highest honor.
