HMR R.I.P.?

Article Abstract:

The supermarket industry in the US needs to cooperate and work hand in hand with foodservice companies to make way for future growth in the home meal replacement (HMR) market. According to a study done by McKinsey & Co., the estimated 100% growth of supermarket is likely to beget from the foodservice sector. However, the two sectors are showing disparity as several supermarkets are indisposed of meeting foodservice requirements. Food Distributors International (FDI) Executive VP and General Counsel John Gray enjoins the supermarket sector to look into logistics, accounting and staffing in the perspective of a foodservice company instead of its own to become successful in the HMR market.
