Inside the mind of a wine collector

Article Abstract:

A psychological analysis is undertaken to discover how and why casual wine drinkers develop into dedicated and almost obsessive wine collectors. Five stages in this evolution are presented and it is concluded that wine collection is an exhilarating pastime, as it is a life-long experience, which evolves along with the collector and generates memories that last longer than many wines.
