The wineries of Jess Jackson and Ernest Gallo are the biggest wine companies in the Sonoma region. Jackson is currently pushing out the boundaries with mountain grown fruit and boutique style wines. The Gallo wineries run in a very different way.

Court decides one Cos is enough

Article Abstract:

Napa Valley winemaker Costentino was ordered by a San Francisco, CA, federal court to cease calling his red wines Cos, which is the vintner's nickname. Bordeaux winery Chateau Cos d'Estournel filed suit against Costentino.
