Masters of Wine candidates face new courses

Article Abstract:

A two-year study program will be required for those wishing to take the Master of Wine examination. A 5,000-word thesis will also be required of first-year students. Wine importers Frederick Wildman & Sons are sponsoring the course.

New York wine world loses a leader

Article Abstract:

Wellington, a wine expert who began his career as a busboy at Manhattan's Windows on the World, died on Sep 8, 1992, of complications from AIDS. Wellington was director of wine operations for the New York Restaurant Group.
