Middle Eastern vintners on the front line

Article Abstract:

The wine industry in Israel and Lebanon are affected due to the war between Israel and the Hezbollah. The wineries in the border regions of Galilee in Israel and the Bekaa in Lebanon are under the threat of shelling, which is delaying their harvest and their shipments to the United States and the United Kingdom.

Two California vintners gain a toehold in Burgundy

Frances and Terrance Leighton, two California vintners, will release a wine they made in Burgundy soon. The hurdles they were required to overcome because of French winemaking laws were substantial. The couple are discussed.
